The Studio Art School is developing partnerships with some of the UK's leading art colleges and universities. We make it our business to keep in touch with key staff in higher education institutions, ensuring we have access to the most up to date information on Art and Design courses throughout the United Kingdom.

    Nottingham Trent University
Nottingham Trent is a leading modern university, and is rated as one of the top in the UK for job prospects. The School of Art and Design at Nottingham Trent is one of the most highly regarded in the country. Students from the School are regular prize winners in major national competitions, and its graduates are among the most sought after by industry. The School of Art and Design offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in a wide range of subjects, including Fine Art, Graphic Design, Fashion and Textile Design, Decorative Arts, Multimedia and Photography.
 
 
    Swansea Institute of Higher Education
Swansea Institute of Higher Education, a member of the University of Wales, has a history which goes back over 150 years. The Faculty of Art and Design is widely recognised as a centre of excellence, and offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Visual Communication, Fine and Applied Arts, Photography and Video. Situated near to an area of outstanding natural beauty, and housed in a newly opened purpose built building, the Faculty of Art and Design offers accommodation and facilities of the highest order.
 
 
    Cumbria Institute of the Arts
Cumbria Institute of the Arts is one of the UK’s leading specialist arts institutions, and offers a wide range of courses at all levels from access to postgraduate. It has some of the finest and accommodation and facilities of any institution of its size in the country, and has an excellent record of student progression and graduate employment. The Institute, relatively small in size, retains a unique identity, and is located near to the Lake District in one of the most scenic parts of the United Kingdom.
 
 
    University of the Arts London
The University of the Arts London consists of six internationally-renowned colleges: Camberwell College of Arts, Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design, Chelsea College of Art and Design, London College of Communication, London College of Fashion and Wimbledon College of Art. It is widely recognised as one of Europe’s leading providers of education in the arts, and its alumni include some of the world’s leading artists and designers. Situated on multiple sites in the centre of London, it has established a reputation second to none, and has been rated as the UK’s best higher education college.
 
 
    Gray's School of Art
One of four main art colleges in Scotland, Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Fine Art, Design, Crafts, Photography and Digital Media. Part of the Robert Gordon University, one of the UK’s leading higher education institutions, Gray's is renowned for the quality of its teaching and research. It is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Scotland, near to Royal Deeside and the Grampian Highlands, and offers modern accommodation and facilities on a single site on the outskirts of the city of Aberdeen.
 
 
    UHI Millennium Institute
The UHI Millennium Institute (UHI) is a unique network of colleges and research institutions in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, providing university level courses throughout the region. Each of the partner institutions and colleges has its own distinctive character, and operates independently, which means the UHI has all the advantages of a larger institution but also has the ability to deal with individual students on a very personal level. It has over 5,000 students studying at its 15 partner institutions, and offers a wide variety of courses at all levels from sub-degree to postgraduate, including a number of Art and Design courses.
 
 
    University of Hertfordshire
The University of Hertfordshire is one of the UK’s fastest growing universities, and has invested over £200 million over the last ten years developing world class facilities. Situated on two adjacent campuses in Hatfield, and with over 20,000 students, Hertfordshire has the reputation for being one of the safest universities in the UK. It is served by many road and rail links, and is only half an hour away from London. The major international airports of Heathrow, Stanstead and Luton are all within easy reach. The Faculty for the Creative and Cultural Industries is one of the most progressive in the UK. The quality of its teaching has been rated as excellent by the Quality Assurance Agency, and its wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses are backed up by impressive facilities and highly qualified staff.
